Job Advert Of The Day

Chuck Baldwin asks some quite searching questions about why such vacancies should suddenly seem to have arisen.

I've seen an awful lot of adverts and posts and so on about those sort of things. I can't rationalise it at all, except to wonder if a) the military wasn't creating work in hard times, b)stories are being confused with the growth of homeless 'tent cities' or c) the government is renewing prisons to avoid some long-term repeat of guantanamo.

Then again, most of the stories involve the National Guard, which is as big a bureacracy in its way as one could have--maybe it is simply doing something to spend some money.

The alternative, of course, is that people have worked out the very real potential for an economic collapse and social disorder in America. We seem to be on the edge of one of the most fear-driven and spiteful periods of modern western history. What if arrogant elites and outraged mobs started clashing in a very serious way?

Of course, there is always the possibility that there is nothing to the story at all, bar one or two construction efforts.

Martin--mediamatters make a quite thorough attempt to 'debunk' or at least 'defang' the story here;
