A Word Of Support For Scotland's Justice Secretary

Kenny MacAskill, aka 'The Copfighter-General', Scotland's Justice Secretary, is seeking Westminster's support to try to limit the ruinous expense occasioned by litigation claiming that the act of 'slopping out' breaches prisoners' human rights.

Mr. MacAskill finds himself in the individious position of trying to defend human rights while also trying to balance the books. In a manner of speaking, he is caught between two stools. Let us hope he does not become a busted flush.
