The case of Maisha Mohamed...sigh...

An 'illiterate and innumerate' 22 year old Somali mother of three, Mohamed was convicted of 'child destruction' yesterday, having received an illegal abortion while seven and a half months pregnant. The child was the product of an affair.

According to the 'Daily Telegraph',

"At 14 she was married to a man eight years older and by the age of 18 Mohamed had two children, aged six and four, with him. Her husband has since arrived in Britain and four months ago Mohamed give birth to their third child."

If Hubby's level of educational attainment is as low as hers, it's hard to see how either will add any value to the British economy.

Never mind, maybe he's an oncologist...or rocket scientist...or something...

I think that the time has now come to revisit the whole question of family reunification visas - don't you?
