Foreign Criminals Of The Day (Kelly's Christmas Crackers), Part I - For The Term Of His Natural Life, Part I
On December 22 the Daily Telegraph published a list of prisoners held within British jails who will never be released from confinement.
Amongst them is Victor Castigador, a Fillippino illegal, who in 1989 burned two men alive and tried to burn two others during the course of a robbery.
Nice guy.

Victor Castigador should never be released. He shouldn't be worshiped or the building up of a shrine just for memory sake. To this day, no photo of him exist. Why? The victims deserve the right to heal and not to be reminded of his Crimes. This is provided in good faith and based upon personal experience with victor.

Mark,
This might surprise you, but I wish I could unwrite this post. Experiences that I have had in the four years since I wrote it, such as coming into contact with Castigador's children (and if memory serves I wrote this post when I was drunk: my personal curse, or perhaps blessing, is that I suffer from an astonishingly severe case of Tourette Syndrome, and in the past I found alcohol a useful tool for blunting its symptoms) make me wish it just wasn't there any more.
But it is there, and I can't unwrite it. Please do not invest this post, and so many other posts of mine, with a significance flowing not from the River Clyde but from Jacob's Creek instead.
