'Asylum backlog 'is much bigger'

There's a surprise.
Given that he has deliberately degraded those institutions of government responsible for preserving the homeland through a process of neglect, one now just can't help oneself asking - is Blair guilty of treason?

It's a wonder that any country can keep track of asylum seekers and deportation dodgers etc. but Western governments over the past 20 years should have been preparing -- has Britain degraded these processes or were they really good enough in the first place? Here they haven't been good enough in my lifetime.

Oh, yes, they were good enough. before

The difference is that the government we've had supervising them since 1997 hasn't been good enough.
